Together, is a collaboration that comes to life at the intersections of our art. Respectively, we have been excavating from the practice of deep friendship and how it manifests in a myriad of ways in each of us. Lora, brings platonic intimacy to the forefront and writes earnestly about its embodiment. Lafat, creates a world where our lovers are our best friends and our best friends are our lovers… the idea of homies, lovers, friends is present at every turn. We, Homie House Press, have manifested ethics of how to be a homie, and how that can aid in keeping eachother close. We are always coming back to this space and excavating more from it. We have each been moving through friendship and relating in an attempt to do less harm and create safety as we build a world we wanna live in, as this one burns down.
