VERSIONS, is student work by Cassie Myers. We mentored her during our time as Artist-in-Residence 2019 at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, MD. She is one of three students whose work we chose to publish under Homie House Press while there. She fully grasped and applied the practice at the center of what we do here, which is, crafting narratives that meet at the intersection of personal, political, and poetic. We are very honored to be debuting her work as a photographer, storyteller, and bookmaker.  Student work is the best work!

VERSIONS, is a delicately crafted photo story that is looking at introversion and extroversion as a spectrum.  Myers has cleverly included a graph that portrays where her collaborators each lye on the said spectrum. This project consists of interviews and portraits of her varied friends and acquaintances and how they grasp with the extremes of having to be one or the other. Through this project, Myers, has created a language for those of us in-between to dialogue in a way we hadn’t been able to before.
