Zine TrueQué 2017, is a collaborative zine that came into fruition on the coast of Ecuador in a surf town, called Ayampe. This is documentation of what was learned and reckoned with in the two-week artist residency. It is made up of scrap book drawings, actions, doodles, poems, photographs, manifestations, and a collective holding of space. This is what happened when 15 international Latinx artists came together in a dialogue developed during a common research exploring the meanings of identity, sexuality, race, family, memory and love within community.
